Nestled down in the arroyo of San Ignacio, Mexico is La Casa Clü. This organization unites the community by supporting single mothers and families in need and in turn helps to build better futures for their children. La Casa Clü holds workshops in a range of activities such as sustainable gardening, contemporary dancing, crocheting, practicing capoeira, understanding emotions, and school tutoring. They also supports a women’s cooperative that creates artisanal crafts, gorgeous piñatas and legendary cactus jams. These items are sold to support single mothers and families in need. Thanks to the support of volunteers and donors La Casa Clü is very excited to start building a permanent facility to host the workshops and women’s cooperative.
