Show Me Your Mumu has an immediate opportunity for a skilled associate-level product developer under its swim category. Design experience is a plus!

• Collaborate with the Co-founders and creative director to execute their design vision by presenting market and trend research seasonally
• Responsible for the execution of the swim line -this includes attending and leading all
  fittings with the patternmakers and tech team, addressing any construction, fabric and
  design issues and thoroughly communicating this back to the designers throughout the development process
• Responsible for all CAD sketching and creation of tech packs
• Responsible for all vendor communication
• Knowledge of costing and negation
• Tracks our design schedule to ensure timely completion of designs and design packages according to the development calendar
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to translate final product information through our ecommerce channel
• Liaison between the designers and the technical team- must be able to efficiently and
  effectively communicate fit problems and strategize ways to improve the garment
  alongside the tech team
• Takes initiative to research and grow the category while establishing new product
  strategies that achieve and exceed sales and gross margin plans

• Import experience is a must
• 3-4 years PD or Design experience
• Associate or BA in Product Development or Design
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Strong and fast paced CAD skills
• Able to work collaboratively as a team player within the department and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledgeable of basic body measurements
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Print/Graphic Design knowledge is a plus
• Must have a basic understanding of garment construction and a good eye for design
