Cammy and Cologne, brunette and blonde besties, met at UC Berkeley and moved to NYC to pursue their big-city careers in fashion. Cammy grew up on the bayou in New Orleans, while Cologne was a true California girl from Newport Beach.

The duo started Show Me Your Mumu after a weekend trip to Miami sparked the idea to create fun, printed, flowy clothes that were also cute enough to wear out at night. They dreamed of something you could toss on at the beach and head straight to dinner in—that go-to piece you wish you packed every time…Once they had their sights set on turning Mumu into reality, they never looked back. A lifelong friend was informed of the two ladies’ brilliant and crucial invention. Naturally, he exclaimed, “Reinventing the mumu?! I love it! Show me your Mumu!”

In that moment, it was clear: that was the brand’s name, and it was here to stay. Back in NYC, while juggling full-time jobs, they hustled to evolve their business. They taught themselves to run a website and used Craigslist and social media to find a patternmaker and production source, making the most of every tool they could. Their tiny Nolita apartment doubled as a warehouse, with Mumus crammed into every inch. Nights were for design sessions, while lunch breaks were for fabric hunting. All that hard work paid off when they finally held their first Mumus in hand.

After a cross-country move and six offices later, Show Me Your Mumu grew from one silhouette into collections that evolve with women through life’s biggest (and best-dressed) moments. Whether you're walking down the aisle, chasing toddlers, or catching flights, Mumu’s there for every milestone. Cammy and Cologne built more than a brand; they created a lifestyle that supports women, celebrates change, lifts each other up, and makes getting dressed the best part of your day.
