Show Me Your Mumu is seeking a Digital Content Assistant. This position is responsible for helping to manage our digital and ecommerce content and operations, and will report into the Ecomm Content Director. Main responsibilities include preparing the website catalog upload process for all product segments within the Show Me Your Mumu brand--Mainline, Bridal, Kids, Swim, and Accessories. Working collaboratively with design, production, and photo teams to acquire the necessary assets associated with each style to portray the products correctly and bring them to life for weekly online collection launches.
Responsibilities
Helping to prepare the website catalog information. Gather details of new product launches, sit in fit/line reviews to gather any other details about individual garments (e.g. dress length and denim inseam)
- Writing descriptions for products, using both the details of the product and the brand voice, writing fun yet informative descriptions for each product
- Understanding model info and making sure the model and size worn is correctly stated for each garment using the Ecomm doc shot list as well as visually checking against our model roster
- Creating upsell information for the "You May Also Like" and "Complete The Look" sections of the product pages. Predicting customer interest based on the style they have clicked into, and working with the Stylist to select products shown in the photos
- Proofing the upload doc before products are set live
- Helping with merchandising key pages
- Requesting additional content photos when needed
- Overseeing Shopping Cart Photo Shoots
- Watching the screen and selecting images on shopping cart shoot days, recording model info, making note of physical details useful for product descriptions, and uploading photos to the site
- Working with the Marketing team to create, research, and apply search friendly tags for SEO visibility
- Creating Search rules and applying rules to collections for frequently used terms
Requirements
- 1-2+ years office experience, preferably in digital
- Extreme attention to detail with impeccable proofing skills; highly organized
- A great creative writer who can find the brand voice while being informative
- Strong communicator; strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem-solve and find new systems to increase efficiencies
- A critical thinker with an investigative mind
- An eye for merchandising
- Shopify experience is a plus
